It's a loud rumble or howl. Many repairmen said it was the wheel bearing. Replaced it and still have the noice
What makes this problem better or worse?

Perhaps the wrong bearing was replaced .. That certainly happens a lot of the time due to the FACT it's difficult to determine which bearing is actually making the noise .. Even for an experienced mechanic!
This could be a tire as well. Sometimes people mistake a bad tire for a bearing. I would take it back right away. Alex
Had new tires put on. Noise still there.
It is nearly impossible to accurately determine WHICH front hub bearing is failing just by test driving! *Many people* have been mistaken by simply listening while driving the vehicle .. 95% of the time - it is the opposite side - from what it sounds like - that’s actually the culprit. There is a more significant test - that will prove which bearing is failing ...
