What is your question?
How do you go about replacing the headlight switch in this vehicle. I getting a whining I believe in transmission does that mean transmission is going bad?

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Remove the Instrument Panel Lower Steering Column Cover. Reach up behind the left side of the instrument panel and depress spring clip on top or bottom of headlamp switch. Firmly push out on the headlamp switch assembly. Disconnect the wiring connectors. Remove switch from vehicle. As for your transmission, check your transmisson fluid level with the vehicle at operating temp. correct if necessary. If the transmission is still making a whining noise, I suggest you take your vehicle to your local dealership of Transmission repair shop for diagnosis. Note: check you Power Steering Pump as the whining may be coming from there. The PS pumps were notorious for whining noises.
