Has anyone figured out why the 08 sebring would die while driving and not start ajump

Hello, it's too difficult to guess what happens when the vehicle stalls without performing hands on testing to determine what has failed. There is an answer for any and all faults, but stringing theory together to try and solve a problem does not do very much, as it cannot be physically seen or determined. The only clue here is the insinuation that the vehicle will restart with a jump start. If this is true, then it would seem that an electrical concern is occurring. But, if it were a battery or charging system concern, the jump start would be momentarily successful but ultimately would result in another stall. I would suggest hands on testing at a trusted shop near you, and be assured that if the concern is happening, it can be resolved.
