On the Sebring convertible when you open the door the window comes down about a 1/2" to allow clearance for the top. When you close the door the window goes up the 1/2" to make for a good seal. Problem is when I open the door the window goes down the 1/2" and immediately back up. Is there a reset or an easy fix for this?

This is usually a symptom of the door or window switch starting to malfunction/go out, the part generally is somewhere in the $30-$60 range with the labor at 1-2 hours. The circuits/connections would need to be tested to determine the faulty component though. Give me a call with any questions!!! Ayla Coastland automotive services (Bonita) (239)498-0794
I have had the same problem. I tried to reset the power window but nothing worked. Since I couldn't find an answer on line I bit the bullet and paid 500.00 at the dealer to fix. It was the door lock activator. Part cost under 100. and plenty of youtube videos with directions.
Thanks John for your response. I had it repaired and it works fine now but wasn't adjusted up enough. I took it back and they told me it couldn't be adjusted up any further. They have now lost any of my future business. I hope they read my response. Thanks again John.
JohnnyBlack- what dealer did the repair? I have a 2008 Sebring Hardtop convertible that is doing the same thing.
