Car is not over heating...

I have a 2006 Sebring Convertible. I'm sorry I'm not completely sure which fan you're talking about? If you are talking about the radiator fan...I believe that fan can continue running after the car is shut off to precisely prevent overheating or plastic parts melting. You may notice it running for a minute or so, depending on how hot the car gets. That is normal. It is just a safety feature. Now...if it continually runs for minutes upon minutes, it could be a bad relay switch (or some other coolant problem) and can run down the battery. I would not worry if it is a short time. I have heard other cars do this after shutting down...
