I am trying to narrow the search to see where my oil leak is

Hello, Looking at the OEM auto parts site will show you exploded views of the engine components. However, this is not an efficient way of finding a leak. The best method when you cannot find where a leak is coming from is UV dye. You can buy kits at any auto parts store to pour a small amount of UV dye into the oil, allowing you to use a UV light to spot the leak as it occurs. Typically I will spare the cost, power wash the engine bay, and run the engine for a few minutes with the cooling fan disconnected. This flushes out most leaks the old fashioned way. Another thing to try is looking for the clean line in the grime that is caked onto the engine. Oil acts as a detergent, and will clean its path.
