What is your question?
Ok, so recently I began to have issues with my Sebring. It will, sometimes shift up randomly and other times it will lock in LHM. I've managed to get the codes pulled once and it only threw "P0700" & "U0101" codes. I replaced the Transmission Control Solenoid thinking that was the issue but it's still doing it. If I try to shut the car off and restart it the PRND3L window will show all gears boxed instead of just one. I've cleaned every connector to the TCM and ECU that I could find just to be safe and still have this issue. Sometimes I can remove the negative battery cable for a few seconds and then start the car and it will shift normally but it also seems that, the warmer the temperature of the day, the less likely it will shift correctly. I'm lost and need this solved soon. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Seems to be worse on warmer days
How long has your 2005 Chrysler Sebring had this problem?

I respect that you are having troubles and doing what you can to resolve them on your own. You've clearly gone as far as you can doing things logically that you are thinking of. The problem here is that replacing the control solenoid was essentially a guess and in the end wasted resources. I understand that doing it was in some way a worthwhile try, but in the end, most often guesses don't pan out, and you can do more harm than good by replacing components that in reality were not faulty. Testing using a diagnostic tool that can monitor component operation is absolutely essential. This transmission likely has an internal concern that cannot be easily resolved by a single part replacement..
I haven't got diagnostic tools. All I can do is observe the engine and transmission as I use it. Being a delivery driver. I'm more familiar with the way my vehicle should run and shift that a normal daily driver. I've managed a few more conclusions. 1 the transmission is only downshifting, seemingly at random. If I'm steady on the throttle it will downshift from say 4th to 3rd or something along those lines. 2. It seems to do it more frequently when I attempt to increase throttle and thus accelerate. 3. The vehicle will shift better at cooler temperatures. The first time I start it during the day it may run and shift as it should. But as the engine warms up the issue begins. 4 if I shut the vehicle off then restart it. The vehicle has a chance to lock into like home mode. I can pull over after the check engine light comes on. Shit the car off and disconnect the negative battery cable for around 15-30 seconds and try again. With occasionally having to repeat this process a dozen times before the vehicle will choose to shift correctly. My conclusion so far is a bad or malfunctioning sensor somewhere. But I can not make up my mind on which one. I know the MAP sensor, if it fails, will cause a vehicle to stop shifting beyond 1st gear. But I am not sure as I have no real way to test the sensors.
I get that you do not have the needed diagnostic tools. You can have all the observations you can imagine -- but without hands on testing utilizing needed diagnostic tools and a shop manual and wiring diagram for reference -- everything is a guess and will end up costing you more in the long run. I'm really sorry, people in this or any forum won't be very helpful with "theoretical" advice. I appreciate your thought process and lack of resources -- but it's not helpful ultimately.
