What is your question?
my car has 60,000 miles, and the engine light came on and wont go off, I dont think anything is wrong, because I take excellent care of it. 2 weeks ago, my boyfriend got mad at me, and did something to the wires so it wouldnt start. when he fixed it, I noticed the light, and its been on ever since. could this be the problem? and what should I do ?

If wires were disconnected and you had tried to start the engine the computer in your car saw that one of the sensors was disconnected and turned on the Check Engine Light. The light should reset in most cases once the car has completed two full drive cycles where it sees that the fault no longer exists, all though it may take up to even a few weeks to turn off the light. Its best to have a Scan tool connected to the 16 pin diagnostic socket under the dash. The code stored that caused the light to come on can be verified and confirmed that there is no other problems. If there is an Autozone or AAMCO in your area they may check the code for free call and inquire.
Nothing to be alarmed about. It could be the result of your boyfriend's tampering with the wiring or if the car is due for it's first "major service requirement" which in most cases is at 60k-70k miles. When that service is done, the dealer will reset the engine light. If you are not taking it to the dealer, make sure you have the important service requirements fulfilled, ie. timing belt, tranny filter, fluids changed, etc.
