What is your question?
I'm having an issue with my car leaking water when it rains or I wash it. I have a convertible and I've looked up all sorts of keywords only to find results for people having massive amounts of water in their cars as well as a leak primarily on the passenger side or back seats. My issue is a bit different, I only get little drips, not enough to make a puddle but just enough to annoy the heck out of me and make me worried about the electronics on my car door and seat. It seems to only drip out of the top through a rubbery part, but I haven't found exactly where it's coming from. I guess my question is: Does anyone have any quick fixes or DIY solutions for this? Maybe some sort of soft resin or caulk? I try not to bring the car in for little stuff like that anymore considering it's only worth around 900 bucks at this point. Thanks in advance, let me know if you want or need any pictures or more details.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When I open and close the door it drips more, and when I wash it, I get the most leakage.
How long has your 2004 Chrysler Sebring had this problem?
about 2 years ago, when I got it. Previous owner barely drove it and kept it in a garage. It is my full time car and it is stored outside.

Honestly, it's a matter of troubleshooting where the water is coming in primary, and then determining the cause. Yes, in cost, parts needed alone could exceed the "value" on paper of the vehicle. Most any repair of substance could. But water testing is needed and should be performed.
