What is your question?
I have a 2002 2.4 Ltr Chrysler Sebring LX convertible. Yesterday the AC was only blowing warm air and would not cool down. Today the AC is working fine. What would cause this to happen? The controls are in the same position.
What makes this problem better or worse?
I don't know the controls are in the same position I just turn the fan speed control on.
How long has your 2002 Chrysler Sebring had this problem?
I don't know as I just purchased the car yesterday. Previous owner says the AC has been working fine. This is a one owner car with 120k miles in like new condition throughout.

Hello, I feel for you, because you just bought this car and it has a phantom issue that you are needing to resolve. Intermittent air conditioning concerns are both a blessing and a curse. On one, hand, if the system develops cold air at some point, you know that there isn't an active leak, and that your compressor works. On the other hand, it's a mystery as to why you get cold sometimes, and warm others. Your compressor coil or clutch could be intermittently failing. Your cycle switch could be a concern. Your temperature controls inside the vehicle could be at fault. Hands on testing to see how the system under the hood is working at the time you have warm air is essential.
