I installed a new fuel pump module assembly it turns over but it wont run

It was doing the same thing but the fuel pump was not working and there is no fuel filter attached maybe timing chain bad??????

The fuel pump should have a filter on top and a screen on bottom. Which model is your Sebring? Which engine? You could use starting fluid in the throttle body to see if the engine will fire with an alternative fuel source, and you only need to spay a little. The alternative is to perform a fuel pressure test. Also, scan for trouble codes, see if there is anything pending or stored. Besides that, I need to know what engine you have.
