Remote occasionally doesn't work, I changed batteries and still not working occasionally

I have a 2006 Sebring. Would take apart remote again and use a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts where the battery touches. Also Q-tip the battery on both sides while you're at it. Put back together and see if that helps.
