Oil light blinks at idle speed only. It goes out as soon as I accelerate.

Yes replace oil pressure switch first- you didn't specify motor size but most near oil filter or on pan. If this doesn't fix you may have problem with too heavy oil, dirty oil, oil pump- or clogged oil pump screen. Idle speed should be somewhere around 700 rpm- if idles much lower you have another issue.
