my car refuses to start no matter what i do to it??

i drove my car down the road one night to get sevice drove it back to the house shut it off, got up the next morning to start it and it wouldnt start the battery was dead and everything. my fiance has checked the fuses they are all good hes checked the spark plugs they are fine, he has checked the fuel lines and pressure and thats all good we have replaced the distirutor and still nothing. there is fire to it when you turn the key itll turn over but still will not start. does anyone have any other ideas to help get my car back up and running????
