Driving at 60mph on cruise and all of a sudden the engine shut off.

Hello, I suspect you have a failing ignition coil. There are a couple of ways to test an ignition coil, but I don't recommend on-car testing unless you have experience with coil testing. There is a great danger of electric shock when messing with a powered coil. It is a great idea to scan the vehicle, and see if you have P0300-P0306 codes stored. If you have any codes stored or pending, let me know. Side-note, I'm shocked to see someone from Lewisville.
