What is your question?
I was driving down the road about 50 mph when suddenly it felt like it was put into 1st gear, the rpms felt as though they redlined and the car slowed as if I had hit the break, I shifted to neutral and came to a stop, after I came to a stop it would not move in any gear and even in neutral you could not push it with 4 men trying. Had to use the by pass switch down by the shifter to get it in neutral to roll and when you shift to park again and pack to neutral it's locked up again, it's and automatic. Do I need a transmission or is it something else?

Hi! this is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue! Transmission problems are no fun that's for sure! It sounds like a mechanical failure inside the transmission or the TCM (transmission control module.) If there's a dipstick for the transmission fluid check to see if a: it's full and b: it's not dark and burnt smelling. It may even be an issue with a shifter linkage or the PRNDL (shifter) switch itself. If you have any other questions feel free to give us a call at 877-913-1554!
