Is it an electric module issue, short or bad radio?

Yes, the CD is still working and volume works, too.

Factory radio? Possibly a bad antenna. Can be tested.

I am embarrassed to report that my radio is just fine! I saw an error message this morning and looked it up - seems I have no satellite signal. Sure enough, I was in satellite mode. When I hit am/fm, the radio came in loud and clear. I just bought the car last week and didn't even know I had satellite capability. Its always something!
