The car got stuck in 1st gear and the PRVD lights are all lit up

I have a 2006 pt cruiser I just bought 3 days ago with 180K day 1)test drove it, the only thing wrong at first was the brakes needed done, easy right, that's what I thought until the last couple days each day was something different
PROBLEM 1) the windshield wipers turned on RANDOMLY, (just swiped one time)
PROBLEM 2) went to go buy my brake pads, and on the way the check engine light turned on, sucks... but perfect I though because I was at part store they could hook my car up to the diagnostic reader to see what codes it was throwing, he hooks it up (IT DIDNT THROW ANY CODES) he said weird so he cleared it took 30 min to shut off.PROBLEM 3) sometimes it won't let me take the key out when the car is shut off unless I fiddle with the shifter while it's in park then it'll release the key PROBLEM 4) I was driving left store and the car got stuck in 1st gear, put a little transmission fluid in ran good for 2shorttrips PROBLEM 5) the PRVD on dash won't show what gear I'm in like before.
What makes this problem better or worse?
