What is your question?
happened yesterday "someone" said" they thought it was the fuel pump. I don't have a whole lot more money left, as I just bought the car used for her. so I am trying to get an estimate of what were looking at if it is the pump!? Thank you Debby

dont just think it is the fuel pump, make sure, before replacing.what is it doing, details please.also there is an estimator at the top of this page.enter your vehicle info and your zip code and work to be done.
The fuel pressure has to be checked to ensure that the pump is at fault. Not hard to change if needed adn look on youtube many posts. BTW what else is the car doing and any codes?
A really simple way to check to see if is working is to listen and hear if the pump engerizes. It has to be real quiet and sounds just for 3 seconds, you wil hear the noise of the impeller spinning then stop. If you have a car of the same year or about that, use that as a test model. Turn the key to on but do not start and listen.
you are correct on your answer.and it's been 4 months, and no reply back about their question.hope they got it fixed, and you will see a lot of no reply back on this FREE site!and most never put the engine size in their question, and it does make a difference on the fuel pump on this car!!!
