A power steering line leak repair will not have any influence on smoking from the tailpipe. Tailpipe smoke can be due to multiple causes - it depends on the color of smoke and when it is visible. Seek guidance at a local shop near you to get some impression on what may be causing the smoke.
People often confuse smoke ‘from exhaust line‘ to be emanating from inside the tail pipe. Fluid that has gotten sprayed onto the exhaust system will have to burn off before smoking stops - that may indeed take a few trips or extended vehicle operation. (Assuming the leak has been properly repaired)
