Where is the Air intake temperature sensor on a 2.2 CRD Cruiser located.
What is your question?
When driving the car after about 15 to 20 miles, the engine management light comes on and the car goes into limp mode. I have been and had the car put on a fault finder and it states that the 'Air intake temperature sensor' is at fault but what is it and where is it located.
Is it also safe to drive with this fault so not to cause any further damage.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Please excuse my ignorance but is the air temperature intake sensor part of the throttle body or is it separate part and where about is it?
Sorry but I'm no mechanic and I have a friend that is struggling to find this and the dealers are listing the air flow meter as the only thing with the fault name and it's not that.
Thanks for your help it's much appreciated.
Will be searching for it tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
Oh! I forgot to ask if it is ok to drive until fixed.
Thanks
Mike

should be in the rubber or plastic boot going to the throttle body
