my husband replaced the fan in my crusier and now there is a problem with the car shifting, there was not a problem with it shifting before he changed the fan? we are also getting codes p1495 and p1490 on our obd reader, that we not there before. He wired the fan direct to the fuse box so that it would come on when I start the car because it is the only way we can get the fan to work. Is there something that he could of bumped to make the car not shift

First remove whatever was added to the vehicle to try to get the fans to work!....Then check ALL fuses with a test light!!...I really hope you find it to be just a bad fuse..... As for the fan problem.... have a mechanic scan test it to get an idea of what that problem is! One of your codes is a fan relay circuit fault... that does NOT automatically mean the relay is defective! Circuits have got to be checked to find this problem!! Code reader wont help, it needs to be scanned... Good luck!
I think he already did that but I will ask him and get back to you, but is there anything that he could of maybe disconnected by bumping it that would cause the vehicle to not shift from low gear when driving it. Thank you for the help I appreciate it but my son found out that it had blown a fuse which was causing the car to not shift. Thank you very much.
That's kinda what i thought when i stated "check ALL fuses with a test light"....!
