My 2001 pt crusier automatic transmission will not shift into reverse?

What is your question?

All the other gears work and iv been driving it like that for three months. And its crazy cause it still shifts fine and smooth in all the other gears? And please don't tell not to park somewhere i cant back up! Cause everyo e tells me that. I just want to know what i got to do to get my reverse back! Could it be the TCM ?

Do you have a Haynes ot Chilton or shop manual. They give location or just look on the web, will have it. Ck the PT forum wrbsite as well, they have lots of info there.

Bring it to a shop (hopefully one you are familiar with AND trust) and have them scan the TCM for possible fault codes. IF no stored codes , then they should be able to monitor 'live data' and maybe determine from that , a starting point for diagnosis , or maybe get the answer right there.
