car idles rough until motor warms up checked plugs,wires,and coil pack why?

car ran fine until 2 days ago then had to have it towed home because all of a sudden it started running really rough would only go about 25 or so mph.so a friend of mine put his code reader on it and told me it said to check the #3 plug and wire and maybe bad coil pack they all looked fine and coil checked out ok put everything back together and car still idles rough until it warms up any ideas
