Just changed alternator, before that, no problems (except alternator) when in park, neutral and reverse, engine runs smooth. When I shift into Drive, I get violent lurching/bucking until engine stalls and quits. I got no check engine or warning lights and FIXD showed no code or problems
Other than bucking and jerking, no noises or leaks. 240,000 miles, going for 300,000
