check engine light on

Good-luck w/this one. My check engine light has been on since I purchased the vehicle from original owner 3 years ago. I trusted him totally (all maintenance records etc. he babied the car!) and have since had four separate mechanics and repair shops also attempt to get a code - nada every time. Have had it resent on multiple occasions and it always comes back. I hope it remains ONLY the "Engine" light, as I am now dealing w/the addition of the ABS light, as well as the battery light (that's the latest and greatest fun filled addition to the light party) again, no codes, brakes are brand new as is battery - and still, there they are. Common issue in the 2006 Pacifica's from what I understand. Lucky us.
