What does it mean when engine shakes when gear is in reverse or drive

I was backing in and my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica was making a weird noise and the engine started to shake recently. As I put it in park it kept rolling down the hill until I put on the emergency breaks. Everytime I put it in drive and reverse the whole engine or car shakes. I’m confused
