What is your question?
Went to change the spark plugs in my 2005 3.5L v6 Pacifica and realized the ones I got were wrong. So I put everything back and was going to run back to the store. When I turned on the car, it revved to 5000rpm on it's own. Is this a vaccuum leak, or a idle sensor/cable problem? Also to note, the gas pedal has sunk halfway from its original position. You can still press it down like a regular pedal, but you move it up and it goes back down
How long has your 2005 Chrysler Pacifica had this problem?
just happened

I'd definitely say this has something to do with the gas pedal being at the half position. Do not drive the car at all until you trace back your work and figure out what went wrong. Try taking the air intake tube that attaches to the throttle body off to check and see if the blade is open about half way. It should barely be open at all. Alex
