there is a popping sound when the brakes are applied?

My sister's Pacifica did the same thing and I replaced the right and left lower control arms. It is a common problem with this truck. The rubber bushings was worn and the control arm would hit the frame every time you brake. Purchased the parts from Autozone about $163.39 for each arm, and has a lifetime warranty. Good luck.
