Had Code P0404 come up replaced egr and engine like still on I'm thinking it's my pcm not getting the trigger to operate egr valve to open or close any suggestions 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

It's sluggish after you stop and push acceleration like a slight misfire and it's a little ticking noise

Test the individual wires to ensure the EGR solenoid circuit is intact and correct. Also, the EGR tube(s) should be inspected to ensure they are not clogged as well.
If you notice any damage to the wiring or connector leading to the EGR valve repair it and see if that corrects the code.
