What is your question?
My low fuel light stays on even after I fill up. Is this an expensive repair or could it be a fuse? The odometer also stopped working too.

The low fuel light is controlled by the fuel gauge sending unit. Since you state that the gas guage doesn't work, the fuel gauge issue is likely a defective fuel gauge sending unit. The Chrysler part number is #4051663 and is priced about $110.00. Labor time varied however 1.5 hours is usually what it takes to replace the sending unit. One suggestion is that when you have the repair performed, heve the fuel tank as close to empty as possible. I know this is hard to determine with no fuel gauge, but this will save additional labor time and the fuel tank will not have to be drained. As far as your odometer being inoperative, depending on the type of instrument cluster your vehicle is equipped with (standard gauges versus Digital indicators, the cost can run up as high and a few hundred dollars. Worst case scenario, a digital cluster will have to be replaced with a remanufactured part and is generally in the $400.00 dollar range plus about an hours labor.
Thank you so much for the info. Someone had said that to fix the gas gauge it could cost $400! As for my odometer its the standard instrument panel. I first noticed it had stopped when I tried to reset the trip counter. I love this car and up until a few months ago (after owning it for 10 yrs) it never gave me any problems, starting even on the coldest of mornings. The only worst thing about it was the paint. I was told that the primer used on the '90 New Yorkers was defective causing peeling paint on hood, roof and trunk.
