What is your question?
It's just when you acceleration like to try to do a burn out, it absolutely won't do it. Car is manual six speed, so instead of the rear tires spinning it would make a thumping popping noise like the metal body or the shocks attached on the front it would feel like it would unattached.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's worst when I try to pop the engine, feels like the body is coming off the shocks or strut maybe.
How long has your 2006 Chrysler Crossfire had this problem?
Since I bought the car 5 years ago

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Your Crossfire's front-end hop sounds like it's trying to audition for a low-budget action movie. What you're describing could be wheel hop, a common issue when the tires lose and regain traction rapidly. This can happen if the suspension components, like bushings or shocks, are worn out or if the suspension geometry is off. It's like your car's trying to dance, but it's got two left feet. Since you've had this issue since you bought the car, it might be worth checking if the suspension has been modified or if there's any damage. Also, ensure your tires are properly inflated and balanced, as that can contribute to the problem. If you want to keep your Crossfire from hopping around like a caffeinated rabbit, it might be time for a suspension check-up.
