The airconditioning fan will shut off on its own and then come back on after 5 minutes or so.

if you are talking about fan under the hood, that could be normal.....if you are talking about the blower inside the vehicle (vents) that would be some sort of electrical problem needing diagnosis
Have you found any answers to why your air fan shuts off and on ? I have just started have the same problems..Would appreciate any info. Thanks
A blowet motor rezistor when it shuts off tode my ol lady to kick under dash pass side blower motor immeadatley came on but no high speed i think rezistor problem is may have a hvac modugle its dlllar item 695 dollars WELCOME TO OWNING A BENZ WRAPED IN CRYSTLER JUNK fn crome pilling off inner door handles thats razor blade sharp cupholder n ashtrat stuckck closed or open cd plafer works but cant c stations back killing me but the bad boy will fly i outran brand new cammarow v8 hen he flored it i cought up npass innerstate when his goviner kickes in 145 mph i pass at 157 mph
