how can I avoid parking lights inadvertantly coming on?

Periodically the parking lights on my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire come on sometime after I park and lock the car. I am baffled why they come on. I thought maybe it is associated with the locking fob but this is not consistent. Seems to not happen if I lock the car with the key.
Any thoughts?
