Is it possible for me to safely replace the map light bulbs myself?

What is your question?

Both map lights are burned out. I found the right bulbs but don't know how to remove the old ones and put in the new ones. Can I do that myself or must I take it to a mechanic? I don't want to break anything, because my father left me this car, but my funds are limited.

This is hard to answer. Yes, most people can replace the bulb for the map light. But if you are very worried about it and have never replaced a bulb before maybe it's best to at least get some help. The auto parts store people may be willing to lend a hand. Alex
