Parts cannon: installed water pump,/thermostat(housing)/radiator/hose/ECT sensor/to no avail engine warms up and reservoir starts steaming and bubbling at 180 degrees. While hoses to inlet and outlet of heater core remain in the low to mid 80's. No coolant inside car.or odor...is it blocked? Is there a code for possible confirmation?

Yes, you should bleed the air pockets in the cooling system before performing further testing or passing judgement on a problem here. Note that handling hot coolants can result in serious physical injury - so I'd advise to have a professional lead the purging process with proper experience and equipment.
