I have the same problem too, but it is even more intense if i turn it off.
I also have the same problem. I had an old AC/htr control unit (that the LED display went bad on) and installed it and it still did the same thing. Could it be the computer?
I'm having the same problem in my 300M Special Edition. The heater works great. I'm able to change temps. However, if I turn the knob, the fan stays on high and if I turn off the unit, it blows harder. I don't think it's a computer problem. It may just be the unit.
I have the same problem with my car.al the controls work on the heater panel but it just will not shut the blower motor down even when i turn it off. I have been checking online and have found from a mechanic that you need to go under the right side of the car inside under the glove box, remove the bottom panel, and unplug the power module/blower resister,it has 2 screws.so remove those and slide it right out, then replace that.your car heater will start working the way it is meant to.oh i should add the module is right beside the blower motor.
