Hello, coolant can be ingested into the engine due to cylinder head or head gasket related concerns. The consumption can be small enough that it isn't obviously seen or overwhelming to the oil in the crankcase. Eventually, the consumption could increase and be more obvious. A pressure test of your cooling system could be quite helpful in finding any coolant leaks - internal or external. Also, ensure you do not have any air pockets in the cooling system that could be causing the level to go down as the air gets to the top.
