Cam shaft sensor grounding itself out when put in place. goes from 8 volt to 1. What is your question?
Car runs fine under 2500 rpms. Can;t figure out why cam semsor is grounding itself out when I put it back in place or how to repair it.

is the proper gap set for the center between it and the cam that can cause that problem
