Ive had new alternator checked its good. I had to change the plugin for alternator to fit new alternator. Used large butt connector on power cable to splice in fusible link that was blown. Alternator still not charging. Is alternator not getting enough power bc of the wires being spliced together with butt-connectors? Do I need a new alternator wiring harness or what can I do?
What makes this problem better or worse?
