Why air conditioner blowing warm on the driver side and cold on passenger side

Your car is most likely equipped with individual zone control, in other words the passenger can set a temperature different than the driver's. Most likely cause is the door motor that controls the blend door on the driver's side but it could be wiring, an obstruction in the door itself or the controller. A qualified shop would be able to perform tests to determine the cause.
