Car wont start has power, hear relays when ignition is turned but engine wont crank, new starter, fairly new alternator, hear a valve or something at top of motor activate when ignition is turned, oil leak from seal or something at bottom front of motor....
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing makes it worse or better as Nothing happens other than electrical systems starting when key is turned...
How long has your 2006 Chrysler 300 had this problem?
Problem occurred instantaneously, car was running fine and shut it off to go into a store for about 5 minutes and then it just wouldn't start again...

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. Yikes, that sounds like a real pain! I see you've replaced the starter and the alternator recently, but this may be as simple as the battery has failed. The audible indicators of the electronics coming on is a good sign, but that doesn't mean that the battery hasn't failed, it may just be too weak to handle the stresses required during start up. Several factors can cause a battery to fail, like age and the climate in your area. When things like that happen, I recommend starting with the simple things, and moving onward from there.
