My oil light comes on when the car is stopped. It resolves when driving. The frequency of the warning has increased. I change the oil regularly and have the filter replaced when recommended. Thank for your help. I have reduced my driving until the problem is identified and fixed.

Hello, either your oil pressure is actually too low at idle, or the sending unit that measures it is not working properly. Or, the wiring to it could be compromised. Use of a manual gauge installed in place of the sending unit will tell you the actual oil pressure of the engine. If it is within specification, try a new sending unit. If it also shows low, then you have an internal engine issue that needs to be resolved. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
