Engine sputters when the ac is on

Hello, if it sputters anyway, testing for engine performance concerns is necessary. You will need to determine if you have a fuel, air or spark issue. Air conditioning being turned on does put a bit of a load on the engine. If the engine is already malfunctioning, it can get worse due to the load. Your air conditioning could also be part of the problem, but it's impossible to know until testing.
