What is your question?
I'm jind of baffled on this here. my trans cooler line developed a leak around where the e-clip retains the hose. the factory hose is the fitting. non serviceable replace hose is the answer. however i have a rubber jumper section right in front of the trans. does anyone know of a fitting i can stick into the trans then connect like a hose barb or push fitting to? I don't wanna spend the money or time that would be required to replace the whole line as they put a bunch of stuff in front of the connections on the radiator side. id like to rig it until it's leaking at the radiator.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Ah, the joys of modern engineering, where a simple leak can feel like solving a Rubik's Cube. For your 2015 Chrysler 200, if you're looking to avoid replacing the entire transmission cooler line, you might consider using a compression fitting or a barbed fitting with a hose clamp as a temporary fix. These can sometimes be found at auto parts stores and can help bridge the gap between the existing line and a new section of hose. I can't say that I recommend that approach though. Keep in mind that this is more of a temporary patch than a permanent solution. It's crucial to monitor the fix closely for any signs of further leakage or catastrophic damage. Eventually, replacing the line with the proper part will be the best way to ensure long-term reliability.
