When I start it in the morning it spits and sputters and the traction control light and a red light comes on when i shut it off and start it again it runs fine

Hello, The vehicle is reacting to a slippery situation. If there is ice on the tires or ground, your vehicle is acting as it should. However, if all drive wheels have traction, there is no reason for this to occur, so there may be a fault in the ABS control module, or possible dirty wheel speed sensors. Another thing I'm curious about: are the back rolling when you first start to drive? Your parking brake may not be disengaging. You will need to leave the vehicle with a technician until the issue can be replicated. Let me know if I missed anything, or if you would like additional information.
