Can you have another repair pal check the work of another auto shop and what if job wasn't done or the issue not resolved and car same condition not drivable ?

I took my car to a PayPal repair shop and had them do a ob11 check light on and po171 lite up .he told me it was an exhuost leak and my manifold was cracked .had to replace manifold . I don't think he changed the manifold at all and that's why my car is in the same condition and lost of power more sooner.i didn't see a leak and they didn't and no smell there is a clicking but that happens when I open door or sometimes when I'm out of car with engin off.

What makes this problem better or worse?
