1) After parking Volt. 2) Engage Parking Brake. 3) Shift To Park. (Car dashboard see it is in Park). 4) Shut off car. 5) Dash board is stating "Action Required: Shift To Park". 6) Car continues to run, and does not shut off. 7) Repeat step 4. 8) After awhile it finally turns off, and Volt now sees it in Park... 2016 Chevrolet Volt Premier (Bought from Burbank CarMax, and has MaxCare.) Location: 91206.

It sounds like the shifter position switch isn't working. If you spilled a drink on the shifter that would explain it. Hands-on inspection is needed though to diagnose this. Alex
