My instrument panel suddenly goes dead while driving then message center starts

This is an intermittent problem. While Im driving it suddenly the instrument panel cluster indicators all drop to their lowest points then the message center starts flashing low fuel, security, battery. Also the odometer freezes. Then a little later or the next day, it suddenly all comes back on and working normally. It has been doing this off and on for a few months now.

This is a common problem with GM vehicles.
When it is one or two gauges the problem is likely a sending unit or sensor, however, all of the gauges means the cluster has likely failed or has a bad electronic connection.
You will need to check the connection first. All of the pins should be verified for proper signal. If the signal is good all the way around, likely cluster failure.
