What is your question?
once engine has cooled down it can be restarted but will continue repeating the same procedure all over again & again. There is no coolant leaks / once in a while coolant will bubble back into the coolant container, but never overflows.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Every time engine is started the process starts all over again.
How long has your 2004 Chevrolet Venture had this problem?
Give or take 6-8 weeks

Hello, continuing to drive the vehicle and allowing the overheating to continue to occur can only do bad things to the engine. There's no way to know what is happening until testing is performed - but please stop driving! You're going to cause more and more damage as overheating is allowed to continue to occur. Coolant bubbling back into the coolant reservoir can be a sign of an air pocket in the system, or could be evidence of an internal engine coolant leak. Hands on testing is needed. Thermostat? Water pump? Cooling fan? Cylinder head breached? All totally unknown and nothing to guess at. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
